IDG ComputerWorld Honors CONNECT Program

The Federal Health Architecture (FHA) is pleased to announce that it has been named by IDG's Computerworld Honors Program as a Laureate for its work with the CONNECT program.

It is one of 268 organizations and agencies selected from 700 nominees to be honored through this program, which is designed to bring together individuals, organizations and institutions around the world whose visionary applications of information technology promote positive social, economic and educational change.

Nominations for this program require a detailed description of the project, its benefit to society or business, the role played by information technology in furthering the project, and the ways in which this use of information technology is original or innovative.

The nomination categories for 2013 include: Collaboration, Economic Development, Emerging Technology, Health, Human Services, Innovation, Mobile Access, Safety & Security, Sustainability and World Good. FHA's CONNECT program is recognized under the World Good category.

FHA, along with the other Laureates, will be commemorated during the Annual Laureate Medal Ceremony & Gala Awards Evening on June 3, 2013 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C.
