OpenCorporates, calling itself the "Open Database of the Corporate World",   provides a platform for collecting, collating and allowing access to different types of corporate relationship data – subsidiary data, parent company data, and shareholding data. This means that governments around the world can publish, access and view corporate network data that can be combined in a single open-data repository, providing a more complete picture of corporations and their subsidiaries around the world.
