OSEHRA 2014 Open Source Summit
The OSEHRA Open Source Summit on Global Collaboration in Healthcare IT on September 3 – 5, 2014, at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center outside Washington D.C. OSEHRA, the Open Source Electronic Health Record Alliance, is an emerging leader in the advancement of open source electronic health record (EHR) software and related health information technology. OSEHRA will bring together the best and brightest from healthcare and various major open source initiatives including the VistA and RPMS EHRs.
Keynote speakers this year include:

Wentz to Speak at OSEHRA's January Open Source Innovation Webinar
Robert Wentz, CEO of Oroville Hospital in Northern California, will discuss the financial factors that led the regional hospital to self-implement the open soruce VistA EHR, and and why every regional hospital in the United States should do the same thing. VistA was originally developed by the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and it is used by more than 1,800 VA medical facilities.

OSEHRA 2015 Open Source Summit
The Open Source Electronic Health Record Alliance (OSEHRA) is pleased to announce that registration for its 2015 Open Source Summit: Community-Powered Healthcare IT Solutions, to occur July 29-31 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, is now available. “In its fourth year, we are delighted that our annual Summit has grown exponentially in both size and significance,” said Dr. Seong Ki Mun, President of OSEHRA. “With an impressive technical program, respected plenary speakers, and unfettered access to open source leaders, the 2015 Summit is certain to draw a diverse and enthusiastic community of participants.
