Andago to Present its mHealth Solutions at HIMSS 2011
Andago will show the latest releases of its end-to-end Mobile Health Solution at HIMSS11, Healthcare Information and Management System Society Conference and Exposition at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, USA (February 20–24) and at OHT Board Meeting, Open Health Tools (February 24-25).
The Andago end-to-end solutions are based on Continua Certification™ Guidelines. It is an Open-Source application that facilitates the interoperability of third-party systems such as medical devices, mobile device platforms, software tools, and personal health records (PHRs) / electronic medical records (EMRs). It is truly unique in the industry in that can work across devices, platforms, and systems. It can be customized to meet the evolving needs of patients and healthcare organizations and can be deployed for services as diverse as:
• Remote monitoring of vital signs;
• Education for patients and caregivers;
• Developing community support groups; and
• Improved adherence to prescribed therapy.

On February 24th and 25th Andago will be participating in the Open Health Tools Board Meeting. This organization was formed to improve propulation health through health information technologies (health IT). During the Board Meeting Andago will be presenting Open Health Assistant, the first eHealth platform that allows solutions for chronic disease management, and designed for both healthcare providers and patients. At the same session, Andago will present the first publication of OHA platform, under Open Source license, in the OHT community development forge.
