OpenROSA Consortium

The OpenROSA Consortium is a group of organizations who are working together to create standards surrounding mobile data collection. With support from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the Rockefeller Foundation, the consortium has created JavaROSA, promoted XForms as a standard, and held several meetings in South Africa, Kenya, and Tanzania. The consortium is working on standards for how mobile applications and backend servers should communicate.
