This year’s eHealth Week (www.ehealthweek.org) will be held in Budapest, Hungary, on 10-12 May, 2011.

Our parallel sessions will focus on ‘European Regions at the forefront of eHealth’ and ‘Developing Ideas for the Active and Healthy Ageing Innovation Partnership’.

About the eHealth Week’s sessions:

- European Regions at the forefront of eHealth

The aim of this event will be to showcase the role of the regions in further deploying personal e-health solutions, with a focus on actions to manage the chronic pathologies that require the most resources in Europe: diabetes, cardio-vascular diseases and obstructive pulmonary diseases.

- Developing Ideas for the Active and Healthy Ageing Innovation Partnership

The aim of this event will be to gather key stakeholders from industry, policy, research, service providers and users to develop ideas for possible large scale initiatives under the Active and Healthy Ageing Innovation Partnership.
