OSEHRA Development Tools Teleconference

The next web conference for the OSEHRA development tools group is scheduled for Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm EST.

For this call we will focus on illustrating the practical use of the Git repository, Gerrit code review, testing Dashboard and the Auto-Generated documentation. 

To facilitate this goal, a Virtual Machine has been configured with the support and collaboration of the OSEHRA Open Source community. We invite the attendees to the session to download this Virtual Machine from: http://osehra.org/wiki/virtual-machine-testing-osehra-code-base-pre-configured  and to import it into your installation of VirtualBox (that you can download for free from: https://www.virtualbox.org/, and that will run in Linux, Windows and Mac).

During the web conference we will demonstrate the use of the OSEHRA development tools, and we will run hands-on exercises to ensure that attendees, using the Virtual Machines, get a first-hand exposure to the use of these development tools. By the end of the session, attendees will:

     a) Create a branch in Git with a code modification.

     b) Push a code modification to the OSEHRA Gerrit code review system.

     c) Submit a test run on the OSEHRA Quality Control Dashboard.

NOTE: The VM file is about 3Gb in size. Please download it well in advance of the session.  If you prefer to receive the Virtual Machine in a DVD please let us know by Monday, so we can overnight it to your address.
