During a research project titled Dense Cities, the Institute of Architectural Typologies at the Graz Universtiy of Technology, in Austria, will focus on the array of topics concerned with urban density and their relevance to current architecture.
Explains the institute’s head, Hans Gangoly: “The research interests of the institute focus on questions of learning from the inhabitation, organisation and transformation of buildings and structures, asking for design potentials that sustainably increase urban density and diversity.”
