VA, Utah Plan July Launch to Test Rural Veterans' Data Exchange

The Veterans Affairs Department will launch in July the exchange of veterans’ health records between its medical center and private healthcare providers in rural southeastern Utah. It will be the first demonstration of the VA’s virtual lifetime electronic record (VLER) to concentrate on coordinating care in a rural region.
