VA hospital in Colorado to share patient data with private physicians: The Veterans Health Administration hopes this is the first of many projects in the U.S. to help streamline coordination of care. VA, Utah Plan July Launch to Test Rural Veterans' Data Exchange
The Veterans Affairs Department will launch in July the exchange of veterans’ health records between its medical center and private healthcare providers in rural southeastern Utah. It will be the first demonstration of the VA’s virtual lifetime electronic record (VLER) to concentrate on coordinating care in a rural region.
