OpenMRS 2016 Implementers' Conference
The OpenMRS Implementers meetings began in 2006 as a way to bring members of the community together during a dedicated amount of time to collaborate, share implementation experiences, and find ways to improve OpenMRS. This year’s 2016 event is a blend of topics that include sessions covering traditional OpenMRS implementer as well as overarching OpenMRS topics. These sessions coincide with the planned as well as the unconference sessions. The meeting will provide an opportunity for health care team members, informaticians, developers, implementers, and end users to collaborate and innovate. As a result, developers improve their technical skills in OpenMRS, implementers share best practices from implementations, users and health care team members propose and prioritize their top features for future releases of the software to ensure that their needs are met.
2018 OpenMRS Implementers Conference
We are thrilled to announce the 2018 OpenMRS Implementers’ Conference (#OMRS18) will be hosted in Nairobi, Kenya in association with HELINA 2018 (#HELINA2018), the biannual meeting of the Pan-African Health Informatics Association. Our hosts, the Kenya Ministry of Health, the Kenya Health Informatics Association (KeHIA – http://www.kehia.org) and the OpenMRS Kenya Community have organized a planning committee over the past few weeks, and they have set up regular planning meetings with the OpenMRS Events Team to ensure this is a world-class event.

2019 DHIS2 Conference
The 2019 DHIS2 Annual Conference is an opportunity for the Community to meet and share experiences on DHIS2 implementations. The conference will bring together implementers, developers, ministry representatives, technical partners, and donors from around the world. Participants will learn from exciting DHIS2 innovations through 4 days of use cases, thematic presentations, and live demos from the developers. Through a mix of invited key speakers, community-driven presentations from the open call for abstracts, and social events, there will be ample opportunities to network with peers and experienced DHIS2 implementers.

OpenHIE 2019 Conference in Ethiopia
The OpenHIE community will hold its second annual community meeting November 4-8, 2019 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Between 200 and 300 individuals are expected to attend with the ultimate goal of development and efficient and effective operation of national and regional health information exchanges. OpenHIE, short for Open Health Information Exchange, is a global, mission-driven collective dedicated to improving the health of the underserved through open, collaborative development of implementation tools and to supporting country-driven, large-scale health information exchange. GHCon2023
GHCon is an annual conference that brings together enthusiasts and developers of the Free/Libre Health & Hospital Information System. During the 2-day conference, you’ll have the opportunity to attend the different thematic sessions and free workshops and share experiences and implementation cases and, of course, network with GNU Health community members from around the world!
Day 1 is registration day and IWEEE, the International Workshop on eHealth in Emerging economies. IWEEE is about Social Medicine, a space to give voice to the voiceless, share the experiences from different organizations around the World, and try to find ways to improve the lives of the underprivileged.
Day 2 is dedicated exclusively to GNU Health. In the thematic talks, we will discuss topics such as the upcoming features, standards, security, mobile applications, and implementation cases. At GNU Solidario, we will be honored to have you among us. We are counting on your active participation to get the most out of the conference.
