Just got an email from Jill Riley from HANDI Health calling for speakers and panelists for their upcoming conference on November 4th and 5th in Birmingham, UK. HANDI Health is a non-profit organization focused on the development of open source health IT solutions. They have had a series of very successful conferences and workshops and many senior members of UK's National Health System believe that HANDI has contributed more usable code than what they got from the $19.6 billion failure of their previous Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) effort. openEHR Community Rises to the Challenge of Coronavirus
The global openEHR community led by the major openEHR vendors DIPS (Norway) and Better (Slovenia) have today released open source components to assist software developers creating applications and services to help those fighting the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. When the first case of Coronavirus arrived in Norway, Bjørn Næss from DIPS (Norway's largest supplier of hospital IT systems) recognised the need to rapidly develop software to help monitor the outbreak, and reduce the data collection burden on overstretched health workers.

HANDI Health Apps Fall 2014
HANDI Health Apps will be holding its Fall conference at the NEC, in Birmingham, UK, on November 4th and 5th. The conference will be co-located with the @EHI Live conference. The conference will hold 7 workshops over the two-days. Each workshop will have a panel of 3 or 4 speakers who will each spend 5 minutes to set the scene leaving 40 minutes for you to ask questions and contribute to the discussion. Read More »
