Open Source Hardware Summit 2017
Open Source Hardware Summit is a one-day, annual gathering of the OSHWA organization and open hardware community. The summit is designed to inform and empower people in all stages of discovering open source hardware. Some of Open Source Hardware Summit 2017's topics include right-to-repair laws, open source hardware for developing countries, and open source hardware for cellular access.
The event will include keynotes by Pamela Liou (Founder of Doti) and Jeff Moe (Founder of Aleph Objects), a Q&A panel discussion, and a panel discussion on Engineering Open Source with Toni Klopfenstein (Sparkfun), Ben Malouf (Lulzbot), and Michael Ossman (Great Scott Gadgets) and moderated by Katherine Scott. The summit will also include a Demos and Drinks session from 5:00PM-7:00PM. Further details about the speakers and schedule can be found here and here.
Aleph Objects and Sparkfun are offering a post-event tour of their facilities on October 6th. Summit attendees who wish to attend the tours must RSVP by August 28th. More RSVP information can be found here.
