Speculation about Vivek Kundra's replacement

In wake of the news that federal chief information officer Vivek Kundra would be stepping down, the inevitable question must be asked. Who will take over?

Jack Lew, director of the Office of Management and Budget, was mum about succession in his blog post Thursday announcing Kundra's resignation. Requests for information from OMB's public affairs people also came up empty (aside from their noting plans for a smooth transition). Some sources tell me, however, that the administration is already on the hunt for a replacement.

So let's speculate.
