The Quezon City government is launching on Monday, Sept. 12, an P8.5-million computerization project utilizing UP’s homegrown electronic medical record system called Chits or Community Health Information Tracking System.
The project will be formally sealed through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed by QC mayor Herbert Bautista and newly installed UP president Alfredo E. Pascual at the Bulwagang Amoranto at the Quezon City Hall.
With the computerization project, the “most populous city in the Philippines” will now have the distinction of becoming the first urban city to automate its entire health department.
