MAeHC To Help Sync 50,000 Providers With State HIE

The Massachusetts eHealth Collaborative will offer program management services to support the Massachusetts eHealth Institute Last Mile Program, which seeks to stimulate adoption of health information exchange technology.

Officials say the ultimate goal of MeHI's Last Mile program is to connect 50,000 providers across the commonwealth to the Massachusetts Health Information Highway, or Mass HIway, over the next two years.

MAeHC will be primarily responsible for establishing a program management office to work with MeHI and Mass HIway in developing an outreach strategy to ensure alignment of activities related to adoption, officials say.
