FDA Approves Home Health Platform

Federal regulators have approved Verizon's first foray into the home monitoring space.

Verizon officials announced this week that the telecom giant has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) Class II clearance for Converged Health Management, a cloud-based device that connects clinicians with their patients at home and enables them to access data from connected biometric devices.
