Redwood Mednet presents the fifth annual "Connecting California to Improve Patient Care in 2011," a Health Information Exchange conference, Thursday and Friday, July 14 - 15, 2011.
Connecting California to Improve Patient Care is an annual Health Information Exchange (HIE) conference in Santa Rosa. Our speakers are regional and national subject matter experts. Attendees will learn best practices in health information policy, clinical informatics and HIE operations. As with past Redwood MedNet conferences, the presentations will cover both the theory and practice of standards-based HIE technology deployments in California. The conference will specifically address the current status of ARRA investments in health IT in California, the software roadmaps for the CONNECT gateway, the Direct Project, and the PCAST report. There will be exhibits from leading health information technology vendors offering solutions to improve patient care delivery in hospital, clinic and physician office settings.
