BodyTel Joins Continua Health Alliance

Telehealth solution provider BodyTel Europe GmbH has become a member of the “Continua Health Alliance”. Among other things, the industry organization promotes its own standard for the transmission of medical data based on the Bluetooth health device profile (HDP). BodyTel will initially adapt its blood glucose meter GlucoTel to comply with the consortium’s standards. As a result, the device will be interoperable with other Continua-certified products.
