The Veteran Group to Offer PatientPoint Education and Engagement Platform to Veterans Affairs, Federal Healthcare Providers
CINCINNATI and ARLINGTON, VA – PatientPoint®, the trusted leader in patient and physician engagement solutions, is partnering with The Veteran Group to offer award-winning point-of-care education to Veterans Affairs (VA) and other federal healthcare provider facilities. The Veteran Group is a VA-certified, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that provides information technology and business management consulting and solutions to the VA and other federal healthcare partners.
Through this partnership, The Veteran Group will install and deploy PatientPoint products among VA and other government and commercial customer facilities. PatientPoint programs utilize digital signage, interactive touchscreens and other platforms to educate, inform and improve communication between healthcare providers and patients—resulting in an enriched patient experience. By the end of 2018, PatientPoint programs are on track to impact patient-physician discussions in more than 51,000 physician offices and 1,000 hospitals nationwide.
PatientPoint solutions can help the country’s largest health system deliver better care to a critically important patient population: veterans. The fully customizable PatientPoint communication platform is proven to improve patient safety and satisfaction and drive quality care outcomes. Specific solutions to be offered to the VA and other federal healthcare providers include digital waiting room screens, interactive exam room touchscreens, a back-office medical news program and engaging print material.
