The third annual Global Digital Health Forum (formerly the Global mHealth Forum) will convene December 13-14 2016, co-located with the 2016 Connected Health Conference at the Gaylord Conference Center in National Harbor, Maryland. The Forum will focus on digital and connected health in low and middle income countries (LMICs), bring public and private sector organizations to share the latest evidence, experiences, and lessons learned by presenters regarding new applications and approaches in the field of digital health. The Forum is a two-day event co-presented by the Personal Connected Health Alliance, the Global Digital Health Network and USAID.

“The Global Digital Health Forum attracts a diverse group of program managers, implementers, policy makers, mobile and technology providers, and private and public sector health providers, as well as entrepreneurs, investors, funders and researchers working in LMICs. The objectives of the Forum are to enhance the capacity of governments, donors, civil society, NGOs, and social entrepreneurs to design, implement, and evaluate digital health initiatives in LMICs; and, to provide a space for global health stakeholders working in LMICs to network and share knowledge,” according to the Forum's website.

The Global Digital Health Forum is designed to engage attendees through interactive sessions with experts in digital health. Stakeholders will provide opportunities to explore state of the art digital tools for LMICs and emerging trends in global digital health. The deadline for potential speakers to submit their proposals ended on July 15th and speakers whose proposals are accepted will be notified by September 1st.
