eCQM Analytics Landscape: Review and Analysis

Gary Parker, Director of the Meaningful Use Administration at Alabama Medicaid Agency, will outline the efforts of the Data Accessibility and eXtract work group (DAX) and its decision to conduct a broader review of the eCQM analytics landscape.

The Data Acccessibility and eXtract work group (DAX) was formed to orchestrate work efforts that identify and harness methods, tools, and cooperation from EHR vendors and their integrators to provide accessibility to the captured clinical data within these same EHR systems to support clinical decisions and expansive health care analytics.

After a year of working to address these issues with some moderate success, we conducted a more broader review of the eCQM analytics landscape and decided to merge this WG efforts with our companion activities to better utilize our limited resources. 

The presentation will outline this efforts and resulting analysis.
