What’s Happening in OSEHRA

OSEHRA announces today the launch of its new code repository and software quality certification process,. It’s a significant step in providing the tools that we will all rely on as we collaborate to use and improve open source electronic health record software.

First, I’d like to say the establishment of the repository and certification process are examples of what OSEHRA has been doing since its debut on 30 August. The repository and software quality certification process are the first steps in ensuring the Open Source EHR codebase, based on VA’s contribution of its VistA software, is suitable for modernization and distribution.
