Connecting Healthcare Communities: Health Information Exchange Across Pennsylvania, Featuring KeyHIE

eHealth Initiative will be presenting a webinar featuring health IT leaders in Pennsylvania, sponsored by GE Healthcare. This 60 minute session will provide an update on the health information exchange (HIE) landscape presented by Robert Torres, State Health Information Technology Coordinator at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Jim Younkin, Information Technology Director at Geisinger Health System and the Keystone Health Information Exchange (KeyHIE)®.

KeyHIE is an established RHIO in Pennsylvania sharing patient data between several disparate healthcare organizations. Join to learn how the Keystone Beacon Community has leveraged the tools of a health information exchange to improve care coordination in Central Pennsylvania and the methodologies being used to assess and measure efficiencies gained across the community.

Additionally, a brief intro to the Care Connectivity Consortium including Mayo Clinic, Geisinger, Kaiser Permanente, Intermountain Healthcare and Group Health will be shared.
