10th Annual Open Education Conference
For over a decade the focus of the open education community has been on creating and sharing open educational resources. We have largely succeeded in building out a vast, high quality open content infrastructure atop which a new generation of educational innovations are being built. As we celebrate the success of that work, the 10th annual Open Education 2013 Conference looks forward to the critical work of the next decade.
This year’s conference themes include:
- Developing and deploying models that support the broad adoption and use of open educational resources
- Leveraging the open content infrastructure to enable and reinvigorate efforts like prior learning assessment, alternative pathways to credentials, and informal and lifelong learning...

EHI Live 2013
EHI Live 2013 will bring together popular features from previous shows and new meetings and activities. This year’s conference focuses on themes that are at the very centre of healthcare reforms in the UK with streams on The Big EPR Debate, health secretary Jeremy Hunt’s call for a paperless NHS by 2018, and the challenges of Dame Fiona Caldicott’s second review of information governance and information sharing. Giving delegates the chance to discuss these issues with like-minded people makes EHI Live 2013 an unmissable event.

Open Access and Research Conference 2013
Since the previous iteration of the conference in 2008, a number of key reforms to academic publishing requirements have occurred, both in Australia and internationally. The adoption of national open access mandates reflects a common concern for delivering more efficient and broad-reaching research communication systems - a transition fundamentally underpinned by issues of access and dissemination. The theme Discovery, Impact and Innovation focuses on this transition.

CDISC for Medical Device Companies: Progress Made and Best Practices from Pharma/Biotech Implementation

2013 OpenMRS Implementers Meeting
This meeting provides an opportunity for developers to collaborate and improve their technical skills in OpenMRS, implementers to share their best practices from implementations, and users to propose and prioritize their top features in future releases of the software.
