OSEHRA 2012 Issues Call for Papers for First Annual Open Source EHR Summit & Workshop [Updated]

The Open Source Electronic Health Records Agent (OSEHRA) has just issued a call for papers for the upcoming First Annual Open Source EHR Summit & Workshop that will be held October 17 and 18, 2012, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. OSEHRA, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating an open source ecosystem around the VA's world-class EHR, VistA, is looking for  presentations covering the whole range of technical, business and policy issues related to open source electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Some of the specific topics of interests include:

  • Open Source Software Development in Healthcare 
  • Trends in the Open Source Software Industry 
  • New Open Source Initiatives

  • Managing Security and Open Source Software 
  • OSEHRA Working Group Activities
