Libertas Academica

Libertas Academica is the publisher of 87 peer reviewed medical and scientific journals - 81 are open access and 6 are pay-per-view or subscription only.  Libertas also provides reprints, supplement publication, figure creation and re-drawing and manuscript editing.  Book and event promotion services are under development for launch in 2012.  Libertas was founded in 2005.

Libertas is a member of ALPSP, COPE, IDPF, UKSG, CrossCheck, ORCID and CrossRef, the scholarly DOI linking organisation.  Libertas is also a HINARI Publisher Partner.  All of Libertas' content is archived by CLOCKSS, which provides permanent archiving for electronic scholarly journals, as well as the LOCKSS and NDHA initiatives.
