Get Set For The Digital Health Festival
EHealth Insider is launching a new Digital Health Festival to “take the pulse of digital health.” Taking inspiration from music and cultural festivals, there will be a series of conferences, meetings and social events taking place at different venues at different times from 30 April to 16 May.
EHI director Linda Davidson said: “EHI has worked hard to make EHI Live the most successful conference and exhibition for healthcare IT in the UK, but we wanted to offer something different this spring. “The digital health festival will encourage the e-health community to explore how the innovative use of new and disruptive technologies can be used to transform traditional healthcare; and to meet up socially at the same time.”
A number of events have already been confirmed as part of the festival, full details of which can be found on the dedicated website that went live today. These include the HANDI Digital Health Spring Symposium, which will take place on 14 May at the Royal College of General Practitioners in Euston Square, London.
The symposium will explore how lightweight digital tools, running on mobile devices, are going to change the way users interact with the health system. It will also explore key issues – such as how to secure finance for start-ups and how to assure the quality of new apps – in detail...
