Imaging To Take Greater Role In Patient Diagnostics, Health Reform

Imaging is on the cusp of taking a greater role in health IT and development of new payment and care delivery models with new applications and its use as a diagnostic tool earlier in the patient care process.

Dr. George Bisset III, president of the Radiological Society of North America, spoke with Government Health IT about advances that are driving imaging changes ahead of the RSNA 98th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, Nov. 25-30, in Chicago.

What are some of the biggest changes in radiology technology today?
