Obamacare Still Stumping Medical, Non-Medical Professionals

Two speakers at last week's Northstate Economic Forecast Conference followed the same path when it came to describing the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare.

They both agreed that it's hard to figure out what might happen, even with the program underway.

Oroville Hospital chief executive Robert Wentz said there are many ways it can play out. Hospitals like his are carefully watching what happens to charges, like Medicare.

Micah Weinberg, CEO of Healthy Systems Project in the Bay Area, said the future — both immediate and far ahead — are still question marks.

In the medical industry for 40 years and 30 years at Oroville Hospital, Wentz said while Obamacare is still coming into focus, he has some theories.
